Lapis Luna Winery, in Mendocino on the North Coast of California, makes wines with an obsession with perfection and excellent value for money ratio. There is an expression in English, once in a blue moon, which means that something is as unique and rare as the blue moon. The blue moon is the second full moon that rarely occurs in one month, as the moon fills every 27 days. After taking this astronomy lesson we are moving to the main course.

Lapis Luna Zinfandel consists of a blend of 80% Zinfandel and 20% Sangiovese. Long-term extraction is responsible for the deep color and the impressive structure. The wine is then fermented in stainless-steel tanks and aged for 10 months in oak barrels, 10% French and 90% American.
