Flavor Characteristics

Pale red-orange color. Complex and ripe aroma of sweet spices such as clove and cardamom, herbs, jammy fruits reminiscent of cherries and figs along with hints of pepper, tobacco and leather. Rich and robust flavor, but at the same time elegant with high -but very well integrated- alcohol and a long spicy aftertaste.

White and red meats cooked with dried fruit, honey or some other sweet sauce, stew, fine cuts of veal, mushroom risotto, mature cheeses, cured meats.
